Madison Square Garden was filled to the brim with the most well-outfitted clan of celebs we'll be likely to ever see again. The MTV Video Music Awards are a chance for musicians to come out if hiding, give each other accolades for their musical achievements, check out some amazing performances, and most of all to get dressed up in their dopest cool kid finery and this year was no exception.  

Part of the reason The VMAs is so awesome is because it's one of the rare ceremonial events that celebs get to take their hair down and get a little frisky. Every year there are standout fashion moments as well as distinctive performances that go down in VMA history. Here are our picks for most lit VMA moments this year.

Beyonce Becomes Most Awarded Artist While Wearing a Wedding Dress Lingerie Hybrid

Queen B cleaned up last night. She was honored with a whopping 8 trophies, including the award for video of the year for 'Formation.' She now has 24 Moonman statues total, that's even more than Madonna! As for her outfit, she's Bey, and Bey can wear what Bey wants to wear. Her surprise performance hit extra hard and she killed it on stage with a few songs from her winning album.
